我校是中华人民共和国教育部接收中国政府奖学金来华留学生的资格院校。现国家留学基金委设立“2020/2021”学年优秀来华留学生奖学金”，用于资助优秀的来华留学生。我院对此项工作高度重视，现公平、公正、公开地遴选推荐候选人。相关信息如下：
1、推荐名额：共6人
（1）定向名额：本科生或研究生3人，已获中国政府奖学金、孔子学院奖学金、广东省来粤留学生奖学金、广外奖学金的学生不得申请；
（2）开放名额：本科生或研究生3人，此三名学生需与全国其他高校推荐学生共同参加评选，仅限中国政府奖学金生。
2、对象：我校在读二年级（含）以上的全体学历生。
3、要求：
（1）在校期间遵守中国法律、法规和学校规章制度，对华友好；
（2）品学兼优；
（3）积极参加各项文体活动或社会实践活动，有突出事迹者优先；
（4）同等条件下，有经济困难者可优先考虑。
4、奖励金额：本科生人民币18000元/人，研究生30000元/人，开放名额仅提供荣誉证书。
5、程序：
（1）学生登陆https://iie.gdufs.edu.cn/sy.htm“通知公告”一栏，下载《2020/2021学年优秀来华留学生奖学金申请表》，完整填写相关内容；
（2）11月4日上午十二点之前将奖学金申请表交到北校区七教留学生教育学院102办公室何老师处，或发送邮件至iie@gdufs.edu.cn。过期将被视为自动放弃申请资格；
（3）留学生教育学院评审并推荐候选人名单；
（4）公示7天；
（5）报国家留学基金委审定；
（6）公布获得奖学金者名单。

2020/2021 CSC Excellent International Students Scholarship
The Chinese Scholarship Committee has established the “CSC Excellent International Student Scholarship” to subsidize international degree students with excellent academic records. Upon the requirements of the CSC, the Institute for International Education (IIE) now selects the candidates publicly and openly.
1. Number of the nominees: 6 students.
（1）Directional places: 3 degree students (CSC scholarship, CIS scholarship, GGOS scholarship, GDUFS scholarship students excluded);
（2）Open places: 3 degree students(Chinese government scholarship only). These three students need to participate the evaluation with other nominees from other universities.
2. Candidates: Students who studied the degree program for more than one year.
3. Requirements:
（1）Abiding by Chinese law, regulations as well as university and school rules, being friendly to China;
（2）Outstanding academic performance and personality ;
（3）Taking an active part in the campus activities and social practice activities;
（4）On the same condition, preference should be given to qualified candidates economically disadvantages.
4. Scholarship award amount:RMB 18000/person for undergraduate students, RMB 30000/person for graduate students, Open places only offer certificates of honor
5. Selection procedures:
（1）Downloading the“Scholarship Application Form”from the“Announcement”column in https://iie.gdufs.edu.cn/sy.htm and fill it out completely.
（2）Submitting the completed “Scholarship Application Form” to Mr. He at Office 102 of No.7 Building BEFORE 12 p.m. November 4. Failure of application before the deadline will be regarded as declining the opportunity.
（3）Announcing the candidates upon the evaluations by the Institute for International Education.
（4）Nominee information being publicized for seven days.
（5）Eventual evaluation by the CSC.
（6）Recipients being publicized by Institute for International Education.
