外国留学生2012年秋季班于8月30、31日报到,9月3日正式上课。现将有关安排说明如下:
一、报到
1.到102室报到,补齐报名表内容和3张照片,领取有关资料。
2.交学费、开学费发票:可以在102办公室刷卡交费(必须是银联卡);或由工作人员开具学费缴费单,学生持缴费单到大学正门口的中国银行缴交学费,并务必将银行交费的回单交回102室工作人员(***非常重要,该步骤证明该生已交费)。
3.需要兑换人民币,可持护照及护照复印件到二楼VIP3号窗办理。
4.购买保险,一学期300元,一年600元。
二、入学测试和分班
1.8月30日、31日(周四、周五)在一楼113室、114室进行汉语水平测试。(112为休息室)
2.9月3日(周一)上午8:30正式上课。9月2日、3日在一楼的教务公告栏查看分班名单和课室,在旁边的信息架上取课程表,并到105室购买教材。
三、生活安排
1.住宿:需校内住宿的请到102室范老师处开住宿介绍信,持介绍信到16栋留学生公寓办理入住、交住宿费。
费用:双人间: 4000元/学期/床,四人间: 1800元/学期/床,每层楼有免费的公用洗衣房和厨房。
水电费:每学期预收400元。学期结束退房时超过400元的需补交。床上用品:学生自己购买床单、被子、被套和枕头。
押金:入住时缴纳100元押金,退房时凭押金单、房卡、空调遥控器退还押金。
2.就餐:住校内留学生公寓或在校内饭堂就餐的,需办理“临时一卡通”。请到102室范老师或吴老师处登记购买,每张100元,其中可消费70元,工本费30元。之后学生自行到第二教学教一楼一卡通中心充值。住留学生公寓的凭“临时一卡通”使用热水,在留学生公寓一楼大厅的圈存机上转热水(如不明白使用指南可请管理员协助)。“临时一卡通”可于五个月内办理退卡及退余额手续,逾期只能退余额无法退卡。
3.网络:住校内留学生公寓的可直接到公寓服务台申请,服务台将于48小时内开通。开网费30元,月租费30元,半年为125元,一年为250元。
4.图书馆:可到103室王老师处办理图书卡,凭卡可进入大学图书馆阅览。
四、开学典礼及新生入学说明会
1.开学典礼,所有新生、老生全部参加。时间:9月3日(周一)下午2:00,地点:留学生院(第七教学楼)106室
2.新生说明会:开学典礼之后召开新生说明会,内容为:(1)留学生管理有关规定的说;(2)解答办理签证和居留许可的相关问题。
五.签证办理
9月2日以前 体检预约登记,103室

9月4日以前 办理住宿登记,校内住宿者在103室办理(校外住宿者自行办理好住宿登记表)
9月6日以前 签证申请,办理“签证专用证明”并盖章,102室(不再使用旧签证表)

备注说明:
1.体检。所需文件:护照,护照复印件,5张相片。体检费用:548元(已在本国办理体检的需要认证,认证费用450元)。
2.住宿登记。留学生应在入境后24小时内办理住宿登记。住校外的自行到当地派出所。住留学生公寓和校内老师宿舍的到103室办理。所需文件:护照和签证复印件各1份、相片1张。
六、汉语课和“汉语角系列”活动安排(具体内容以课程表为准)
1.上午4节汉语课:周一至周五上午8:30-11:30。
2.下午可自由选择参加“汉语角系列活动”:中国商务文化(全英授课)、广州话、中国武术、中国书法绘画、学唱中国歌曲等等。从第二周即9月10日开始,以课程表上的内容为准。
3.每学期安排1-2次游览考察学习活动。费用由学院和学生各承担一部分。请留意一楼的学生活动通知栏。

School Placement for 2012 AutumnSemester
As the 2012 autumn semester is starting from September 3, students should sign up on August 30 and 31. School placement is as follows:
Ⅰ.Entering School
1. Fill out the application form in Room 102 and submit 3 photos and photocopies of your passport and visa.
2. Pay the tuition by credit card and take tuition invoice: you can pay tuition by credit card at Office 102 (only cards with “Union Pay” is acceptable) orpay cash at Bank of China located near the main gate with the bank note taken from Room 102.The receipt note must be return to the working staff in Room 102 for invoice as the payment proof. (***very important, payment proof)
3.Currency exchange is available at VIP window 3, second floor of bank ofChinawith your passport and its copy.
4. Buy insurance.Insurance fee: 300 RMB/semester,600 RMB/year.
Ⅱ. Language Test and Class Grouping
1. Language tests will be held in Room 113 and 114 (Waiting Room: Room 112)onAugust30 andAugust31 (Thursday and Friday).
2.Classes begin onSeptember 3(Monday), 8:30a.m. . The class grouping list will be announced on thebulletinboardofteaching affairsin the lobby. You can take curriculum schedules from the nearby shelf. Textbooks can be purchased in Room 105.
Ⅲ. Campus Life
1.Accommodation: Please check inand pay feesat the dormitoryreception desk(NO.16 Building)with the invitation lettertaken from Mr. Fan atOffice102.
Room Rates: Double room: RMB 4000/semester/bed;Four-bed room: RMB 1800/semester/bed.Use of laundry and kitchen are free.
Water and electricity fees: RMB 400 is charged in advance for water and electricityfees. Extra cost should be paid for at the end of the semester if the actual costs exceed RMB 400. Beddings: students buy beddings for themselves
Deposit: RMB 100, which is refundable after check-out.
2.Dining: The canteens and restaurants on campus acceptcampuscard for payment only. The card can be purchased fromMr. Fan ZheorMs.Wu(Natasha)in Room102. The campus card costs100RMB in total—— 30RMBis the cost ofmakingthe card and70RMBisthe balance.The card can be rechargedat theCardCenterin the lobby of No.2 Teaching building. Students can earmark money for hot water fee from the card through self-aided earmarking machine in the dormitory lobby (please consult administrative staffs if you encounter any problems). The balance and the cost of making the card are refundable within 5 months, after which only the balance is refundable.
3. Network: studentsliving on campusmay apply for the internet service at the dormitoryreception.The internet will be available within 48 hours after your application. It costs 30 RMB for openinganaccount, monthly rent is 30 RMB, semiannual 125 RMB, and annual 250 RMB.
4. Library:Students can apply for the library card from Room 103, with which the university library is accessible.
Ⅳ. Opening Ceremony andIntroductory Conference for New Students
1. The opening ceremony is going to be held in Room 106 located in No.7 Teaching Building onSeptember 3 (Monday), 2:00 pm. All the new students and keep-on-study students must participate in this opening ceremony.
2. After the opening ceremony new students are required to attend the introductory conference with the language they are familiar with. In the conference, we will (1) brief international student with administration rules and regulations; (2) take up any questions concerning the application of visas and residence permits.
Ⅴ. Visa
BeforeSep.2nd: physical examination reservation at Office 103.
Sep.3th,7:30 am: assemble at the lobby of IIE for physical examination in two groups.
BeforeSep.4nd: make “Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors”. Students living in campus dormitory should make this document at Office 103, and others should make it by themselves.
BeforeSep.6th: preparing documents for visa. All students applying for visa must take the stamped “Visa Certificate” at Office 102. The former “Visa Application Form” is no longer needed.
